Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at Katelyn.campkudos@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A: No, Camp KUDOS is a day camp only. Campers return home at the end of each camp day. While we pack a lot of fun, connection, and learning into each day, there are no overnight stays at Camp KUDOS.

A: The cost for Camp KUDOS this year is $200 per camper.

We do have scholarships available to help cover the cost. If you’re interested in applying or would like more information, please email us at campkudosscholarships@gmail.com — we’re happy to help!

A: Each camper should bring the following items with them each day:

  • Admission ticket
  • Backpack
  • Swimsuit and towel
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Blood sugar testing supplies
  • Pump and/or CGM supplies (if applicable)
  • Insulin and syringes

We recommend labeling all personal items and packing everything in a backpack your child can carry comfortably.

A: Yes! We provide food for all campers, including those with dietary restrictions such as Celiac disease. If your child has specific dietary needs, please let us know during registration so we can ensure they are safely accommodated.

A: Yes! You are welcome to send a packed lunch with your camper. Please make sure the lunch is clearly labeled with your child’s name, and that you include carbohydrate counts for each item. We want every camper to feel comfortable and have food they enjoy during the day.

Yes, phones are allowed for blood sugar tracking only. Please note that cell service inside the building is limited, so phones should not be relied on for communication. To minimize distractions, all phones will be kept on airplane mode during camp hours. Our staff and medical team will ensure your child’s diabetes needs are closely monitored throughout the day.

A: Information packets will be mailed out toward the end of June to the address you provided in your application.

📬 If you have moved or need to update your address, please contact us as soon as possible to ensure you receive your packet on time.
